Primary School Guided Visits to Edward Youde Aviary of Hong Kong Park

Introduction
To provide opportunities for pupils to know more about the characteristics and habitat of birds through field observation and explanation by tour guides, so that they may recognize the importance of animal conservation.

Details of events

Highlights : Pupils will be guided to visit the Caged Display Area and the Walk-through Aviary. Birds Living in tropical rain forests and the ways they adapt to the environment fro feeding and accommodation will be introduced. Some endangered bird species and their nesting and brood-rearing habits will also be introduced.

Target Participants : P.3 to P.6 pupils

Duration : 1 hour and 15 minutes

Application Method : Applications for the above activities will be accepted from 9:00 am on 1 September 2026 onwards. Primary Schools which are interested in enrolling for the activity are requested to fill in the online enrolment form before downloading it and printing it out. Please also fill in the contact information, sign and affix the school chop on the form, and submit it to the Hong Kong Park Management Office by e-mail (e-mail address: hkpmo@lcsd.gov.hk) or by fax (fax no.: 2537 1236). Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
